CAGS Skip Shift Eliminator w/fuse
Thanks
No, the dash cluster is all digital response output from the ECM/BCM inputs, so it not a analog signal to the dash that you are trying to defect instead.
Now having said that, if you want to just pull the dash apart to de-solder the 1-4 shift light bulb in the dash, that can be down with a resistor installed of the bulb isntead.
Note, may not need the resistor for the bulb circuit when the bulb is removed, but since the dash self checks itself at start up, would not chance it to end up with a error code on dash self check instead.
Really, during a after market tune, the parameters for the ECM to require a 1-4 shift is changes, and the ECM just never requires/sends the signal for either the dash light, or the CAGS solenoid to active instead.
