I have a 2007 base coupe with 33K miles. I am the original owner, the car has only been tracked once over a weekend however, I drive the canyons aggressively. I have an upgraded sway bar, Bilstein shocks and Baer Eradispeed rotors with stock calipers. The problem: when I turn left I get a popping / rubbing type of sound from the front passenger corner of the car. I have checked that corner to see if there is any evidence of rubbing by the tire or any suspension component and there is no evidence that anything is rubbing. My search on the forum leads me to believe I may have a problem with the bearings. My question to you guys is does it seem reasonable to believe the bearings could be bad with so few miles? Thanks in advance for any advice.
I replaced the end links this weekend with Moog and cleaned and re-lubricated the sway bar bushings. The suspension noise is completely gone now plus I like the fact that the end links have grease fittings.
