Default exhaust question

well i finally got exhaust but i suspect it is the wrong type. I have a 2011, the car it came off was a 2012, however the pipe seems to be at the incorrect angle. it appears that the pipe that is bent incorrectly has dents like it was smashed in to make it work

so i am guessing it is an 05-08 exhaust, if someone could confirm? I also wanted to know if I purchase headers and x pipe for the 05-08 would it fit my car, and work with this exhaust?

i have talked to an exhaust shop and they can not bend the tip over to make it work, so i am not how to best proceed

edit: just for clarity the gm performance exhasut are the 2 pipes in the middle, the stock pipes are the 2 outer pipes

05 to 08 mufflers ARE bent differently than 09 up.

The combination of pics and explanation leaves a lot to be desired, especially from someone in information technology.

Your profile states you have a 2011 with an A6, which means the stock factory exhaust pipe to the muffler is 2.5" diameter. However, you state the pic shows the outside are the stock ones (3") and the middle ones (2.5") are GM performance (whatever that means).

It'd be better if you included the mufflers in a photo and identified what came off your car and what you want to put on your car.

When something is beat up that came off of another car, it usually means there were problems getting it installed and that it didn't come from the factory that way.

I'd like to help, but the information is insufficient to offer advice.
