Default High oil pressure

I just noticed that when I really get on the throttle the oil pressure spikes to near 100 psi. It settles down to around 50 fairly quickly, but when I get on it again it goes up again. I've watched a few videos on YouTube of people accelerating quickly (showing the gauges) and the oil pressure doesn't appear to fluctuate (at least not near as much).

Has anyone else experience this? Should I be concerned and get it checked out?

I should probably mentioned that is the LS7 motor in a 427 convertible.

Any input is welcome.

The dry sump engines tend to run higher than than the wet sump engines. And I've seen mention of "some" LS7's running especially high. All normal.
