Not again.....
I have experienced an issue with a Callies stroker crankshaft in the past where the reluctor wheel either spun on the crankshaft (not likely) or was installed out of time from the factory (probably).
So, I tried a Lunati stroker with my new build, and....
I believe it has happened again. The engine is running only 5 degrees of advance at idle and it should be 23 degrees. The logical reason is that the EMC is reading incorrect data from an out of time reluctor.
Suggestion. Check your reluctor timing prior to installing your crankshaft and spot weld the reluctor wheel and rebalance for a little instrance.
Now, my engine must be pulled to fix and that is a PITA.
