C6 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
The first question is what do you intend to do with the car? The second is A6 or M6?

Heads, cam, headers, exhaust, intake, ported intake manifold, ported throttle body with fuel upgrade to run e85 making 500-550whp will cost as much as a ecs supercharger and you'll be making similar power.
However imo from personal experience a xxx whp n/a car vs the same xxx whp boosted car the n/a car will be quicker from a dig and most likely 1/4. But from a roll the boosted cars normally do better and could come around the n/a in the top end of the 1/4.
It's really what you gotta decide is what's your goal. Will you be happy with less then 600 hp or will you want 600-1000hp? Cause with the s/c you can grow and make more power
N/a you'll be pretty tap out around the 500-600 mark unless you go nitrous but then it's w/e

CAI, headers and a Tune will get you into the low 12 second bracket and you will still have a very streetable combination, like the others have said the next step is cam , and then heads and a new intake . The car will still be streetable (depending on how radical of a cam you pick)
From here it all depends on how far you want to go and how much money you have to spend........

I'm at 540 rwhp/510 rwtq all motor, no supercharger, no nitrous, no turbo, stock heads even. Pretty sure I did some Trick Flow heads I could be at least 575 rwhp.
Mine is a 2009 LS3 M6.

I never liked the term full boltons.
Biggest bang for your buck will be a set of headers, then get your intake manifold ported (I recommend BER), and finally maybe some gears. Don't get a cai on your ls3 unless you just want one for looks. Do a search for "free air mod" here on the forum.
A vitesse controller is nice to have too, but doesn't add any power.

This. A SC vette drives like a normal car until you stick your foot in it, then it becomes a different car. Picture this:
I tell people it is just a bolt on car, since I just bolted on the supercharger, headers, exhaust, injectors, intercooler, damper, etc., technically I'm not lying.

Just do a nice set of headers (American Racing or kooks in my personal opinion), cold air intake, and a tune. That will be your biggest bang for the buck and won't break the bank at all. If you decide you want more power after that then you can do a cam, valve springs, pushrods, etc. Headers, CAI, tune will put you roughly around 420whp if I remember right. A decent sized cam will put you 470-480whp. Those are all the bang for the buck N/A mods if you're wanting to stay all motor

Okay let's go with Bolt On's for your Vette - starting from the front to the rear:
(1) CAI - (VARARARM, Halltech, K&N etc.)
(2) Plugs (NGK, etc.) and Wires 8mm (MSD, Taylor, etc.)
(3) Ported and Polished Throttle Body (Optional)
(4) FAST or Ported LS3 Manifold (Optional)
(5) Trunion Upgrade for Rockers
(6) Could do 1.8 Roller Rockers (must get the LS3 rockers) "BUT" you will need to change the valve springs as well due to the higher lift (coil bind)
(5) Long Tube Headers, Hi-flow Cats, Xpipe into factory Bi-Mode Mufflers or mufflers of your choice (B&B, Corsa, etc) "OR"
(7) ZR1/Z06 exhaust manifolds with the 3" factory cats and X-pipe into your factory Bi-Mode mufflers or mufflers of your choice (B&B, Corsa, etc.)
(8) Z06 Clutch Kit or Clutch Kit of your choice when needed or ready
(9) Rear end gear change 3.73 or 4.10 from your current 3.42
There you have it - you should have no problem reaching into the solid 11's like many others with just bolt on's -
Thanks,Matt
