Default NPP flaps stuck open troubleshoot procedure

Hey all,

My flaps are stuck open. Can someone describe the troubleshoot procedure and locations to trouble shoot?
I searched the forums and found info on the solenoid behind the rear passenger taillights. But I wanted to see if anyone can describe this procedure to check vacuum mentioned by ROB20RX7 in a post...

" After some diagnostics with the guys from Sunset Orange Creations it turns out there is Vacume all the way to the Vacume ball in the rear. seems its not working from there on up."

Thanks!

Follow the vacuum lines from the exhaust valve tip all the way up behind the intake manifold. Check to see if the vacuum lines are in contact with the exhaust, pinched or dislodged somewhere in the path. This includes behind the intake manifold which is where the vacuum source port is. I have the oem NPP, I'm not sure if the aftermarket version works the same way.

OEM or aftermarket?

Solenoid and fuse would be first things I'd check if OEM

Oem system on billy boat exhaust.

Well learned a lot about the system. Turns out it was a loose connection on my sunset creations mild to wild.

Thanks guys!
