Well after putting everything back together and changing the gear oil it's been a week and the noise is still gone, Very Strange this Corvette.

What aluminum cleaner did you use?

This....spray on and wash off, you can scrub it but ys must remove it in 30 seconds.

That's C5 ZO6 axels those are the ones you want if you can get them, I just scored a set for $150

The C5 Z06 axle's are no different than axle's from any C5.They are a 5 bearing axle and seem to be much stronger than earlier 3 bearing C6 axles
