Ok so trying to buy 06 coup vet 100,000 miles
so harmonic balancer was bad so dealer replaced, So stopped in to see why it was not ready. Snuck in shop and talked to mech, He messed up threads on power steering line. So while it was on the lift saw back leaf spring and it was wet. I check it out and rear end housing had clear fluid dripping from housing bolt on passenger side 2nd bolt back.
Fluid look more like oil than rear end fluid. So I told them to fix or I walk away. I am so sad but maybe it is not to be.

I don't blame you. Stuff on these cars is expensive to fix and that is not the only car for sale. If need be, you can get another one elsewhere. I had the harmonic balancer issue. I ended up putting on an ATI Superdamper for fear another GM unit would become deja vu in a short time. I hate expensive repairs like that, which shouldn't be necessary. They take away from funds you could use for a more meaningful mod.
Sometimes its hard to find that perfect car. Some of the high mileage cars are going to run into leaks, etc especially if you dont know who owned it before hand. Good luck. If this doesnt work out for you, there are plenty out there that will.
