Brake problems!! Help please
Ok so trying to figure out what is going on with my brakes.. Car is a track dedicated car FYI. So lost my brakes at the track pedal just sunk to the floor. Took it the machanic and we had check out everything. Found one of my calipers was leaking from the bleeder and looked like possibly a seal on the caliper. So we rebuilt the calipers bled the whole system abs and all. Pedal came back but not at idle you have one push of the pedal that is firm but the second time you push the pedal it sinks about 2 inches doesn't go all the way to the floor then stays firm. But when you are driving the car it feels totally fine. I have been able to go and take it for a ride to say it feels totally fine while driving but from what my mechanic says it feels great until you put the clutch in or idle and push the pedal twice. Any info would be great thanks

Did some one work on the car recently and reinstall the booster vacuum line back in the wrong position?
At idle, you should have great vacuum available.

No haven't done any engine work to the car.. Yeah we are kinda stumped on what the heck could be the problem I was wondering if the master cylinder is on its way out and if when the booster is getting a ton of pressure at idle if it causing a problem with the master

Before you buy any parts do this;
I would check the vacuum hose while the engine is running; just squeeze the hose and feel for weak soft spots along the tubing. Theory is that the strongest vacuum is at idle and that's when the line would be easier to collapse. While cruising the brakes you say are working OK and the vacuum is not that strong so that makes senses to me that this could be happening with your car.

Not sure what your getting at but my brake pedal feels powered assisted at any give condition, idling or cruising, doesn't change positions either.
