Ready to change axleback
Long story short my 06 vert Corsa Sport axleback has gotten on my last nerve. The car has a small cam, A6 with an ss3600 Yank converter, and LG 1.750" headers with catted LG x pipe. The tone is unbelievable loud with a pitch that has became annoying. When the converter flashes it's so LOUD. Idle is fine and actually sounds very nice.
What exhaust will tame this thing down but still provide the deeper tone?

I'm confident it's the sport version.
Seems to me it's the combination of the cam/converter that makes it obnoxious. The high pitch is what's getting me though. To satisfy my taste, something a bit more grumbly vs. exotic.
The Corsa is fine on my 4 cam LT5, not so much on the PR motor.
Any suggestions to alleviate my disturbances?
