Default Seat Problems

05 coupe with the premium seats, my seat wont go back with the switch, but it will go forward. Most obvious solution is the switch, but I'm not so sure, I read somewhere that the switch just sends the signal to the processor and it sends the signal to the seat motor. Any suggestions?

First suggestion is to inspect the wiring under the seat.
A known issue. A search of this forum may offer pictures.

Could be the door switch which you indicate only works in one direction.
Or do you mean the switch on the seat?
Get a manual and test the connectors for readings.

Lastly, believe it or not the seat has a computer which can fail.
You'll need a tech 2 to program if you have a telescoping steering column.

Plus if removing the seat....easy to do... place a blanket over the sill so the sill paint doesn't get scratched.

Good luck resolving.
