Horn sound while decelerating.
My 2007 Z06 started making a howling sound when decelerating from 2500 rpm or above. It is momentary as it comes down from rpm. No sound at 2400 rpm or lower and has me baffled. Took off belt and still the same sound. Eliminated the water pump and altenator. It is a sound from the front of the engine. Took to shop and they are baffled also. Left for them to put on rack and see if they can hear it better. Any ideas as to what if might be. Weird one!
