Typical FAST 102 tuning adjustments?
I finally pulled the trigger on one for my car (LS7/A6 combo) and was just curious as to what tuning adjustments people typically had to make with no other changes except for the intake manifold swap. The previous intake was a ported stock one.
I'll be taking it to the track for the first time with it installed on Wednesday night and was already planning on pulling out 5-6 degrees of timing for the first couple passes just to play it safe until I get the AFR dialed in. Other than that what kind of changes have you needed to make with respect to overall timing and AFT at WOT?
I don't plan on doing any tuning on a dyno by the way, so it'll be all done at the track.

Most Fast intakes require VE and MAF refinements to get dialed in. Once those are completed you may end up adding Fuel through the entire curve area. VE/Fueling will dictate how much timing you add/subtract.
Hurry and download 3.2 so you can take a look at my A6/2.56/SS3600 tune........

Thanks, but you couldn't pay me enough to upgrade to version 3.2 of HPT. I've been a software developer for 28 years and have seen people get fired for releasing stuff not even close to how buggy theirs is.

when I installed my ported Fast 102 on my LS2 I checked the AFR on dyno to make sure in hadn't leaned out.AFR was good.car at that time with addition of OBX headers and Fast picked up 55 rwhp without additional tuning.car wasn't retuned for 8 or 9 months after install and retune didn't seem to make any difference.your results may vary.I'm thinking it wont need much adjustment in the tune.let us know what your results are
