Need ground locations
Guys and Gals,
I am having a hard start issue and have already replaced the starter and gone over the ground in that area. This is a new motor for this vehicle and it does have headers on it. The headers were on the car 2 years prior to this starter hard start issue and never had a problem.
Long story short:
2007 Z06 with mods taken to GM Dealership for wiper motor replacment and recall on fuse box wiring(headlights, I think). Specific instructions to not flash car.
Picked up. Would not idle. Hard driving it home, very erratic. Lost cylinder 7, cracked liner, 2 miles from house under part throttle.
1 year later, LG installs ERL short block and my heads reworked. Mamo intake, LS9 injectors(may swap back to LS7 due to small cam and 67% injector duty cycle) and gets it running. Anthony informs the car has a hard start on hot starts.
I pick it up and replace starter. Still have issue.
Ok, car never drove again until LG replaced motor, so I don't know if GM screwed something up during recall work, if LG missed something, or it is just my turn for hard start issues.
Can somebody post or PM me locations of all ground wires, especially ones that connect engine to chassis and chassis/engine to battery? The ground wire at the starter is good. I was just there and cleaned it all up on starter replacement. I have been told there is one under the fuse box under the hood that GM may have to touch on recall work....??? Others?
Thank you. I did a search, but couldn't narrow the results down to only get electrical. Lots of suspension links....haha...
