Default side mirror help

2007 z06, everytime I turn my car off and get out, both of the side door mirrors turn all the way down and I have to reset them every time I get in. It's annoying as hell. Has anyone ran into this problem?

You need to either move the mirrors to where you want them and press the easy exit button until it beeps or turn easy exit off in the dic option menu.
Or maybe it's the auto memory recall. One or the other. See page 3-69 in the owners manual.

I feel like an idiot, where is the easy exit button?

If you have memory seats its the button between the 1 and 2 by your lock button. I'm not sure what my mirrors do but I have it move my seat back for "exit mode". In my car I have to hit the memory button every time I get in to drive and it goes to my presets.

While you have the mirrors where you like them you can hold down the exit button with the car started or in accessory mode and when it beeps it resets what that memory position is.

I have a 2007 Coupe with the same option. To set the seat and mirrors to your liking, sit in the driver's seat and close the door. Adjust both mirrors and the seat positions to your satisfaction, then press and hold button #1 until you hear two beeps. Memory button 1 is now set and the seat and both mirrors should automatically adjust to your preset positions when you enter the car and close the door (you may have to start the car also). You can do the same for another driver with the memory #2 button. NOTE: The seat and mirrors are supposed to adjust automatically to your preset memory position, based on which fob you have with you (Fob #1 will recall memory #1 positions, for example).

If you want to change the seat's position for exiting the car, move the seat where you'd like it and then press and hold the Exit button (the one between buttons 1 and 2) until you hear two beeps. When you exit the car, the seat will automatically move to the position you programmed for exiting with that button.

I hope this information helps!

The seats don't automatically move with the manual cars and the Z06s. It will reset the radio, mirrors and air controls to the fob though when you get in.

Many thanks. I thought the manual/Z06 were the same in this regard.
