New Corvette Owner. First Problem.

Hi everybody. As the title says I'm a new vette owner. Love it. I'm having from what I've seen all over the forums. The starter problem. Car doesn't start. Dash board lights up. I've seen that it might be the starter/solenoid. I bought the car about a month ago. It was driving fine. I drive it next day. Start it and no sound, just the corvette prompts acting like it started up but no engine. It's a 2007.

NCM Sinkhole Donor

Check the cable at the starter and the connection to the solenoid.

Sometimes the cable gets lose there and melts the solenoid. Worse if you have headers.

Sometimes the cable ends appear to be tight on the battery and are not. I am assuming that you have already confirmed that the battery is good.

You may also load test the battery to eliminate it from the equation. A dead cell could show good voltage but have virtually no amperage to crank the car.
