Default ARH 2" Header install

I posted this in the Z06 section as well but thought it might get more responses here.

I'm getting everything put together to install my ARH 2" headers. I just wanted some verification on a couple of things.

1. I'm going to get an ARP stud kit. Looks like part # 434-1301. Is
that right?

2. I've read in other posts to use GM exhaust gaskets instead of the
gaskets that come with the headers. The part # I'm finding for
them is 12594171. When I look for these online it shows them
having "D" shaped ports when the ARH 2" are round. Is there
different part #?

Thanks!

Ryan

I would be careful with buying header studs as some might come into contact with the primary tubes of the headers and could make the install very difficult. I would go with arp header bolts instead.

You have the correct part number for the manifold gaskets. I rarely use the gaskets that come with header kits. More often than not, the stock gasket will be fair superior.

I run the OEM gaskets and ARP header bolts.

Hinson sells them. Look at their website.

My headers have a 3/8" flange. Bolts fit perfect.
