Default door wont open.. new HELP

hi i just got my 2008 c6 with widebody.

but the problem is both doors wont open. sometimes they open once and if i closed it and try again it wont. only the window will move at all attempts.

i did a search and changed the door pads but nothing changed..

i know there are other things. but they aint cheap. so i want to make sure what is the fix..

and what is the best site to order parts online ? i want hood struts and some other parts

Cool, just did this post this morning, copy paste

This prolly is the door handle latch (in the door jam). You can tell by opening the door (use the rear hatch pull if needed), then look at the door jam and "close" the latch with a screwdriver or whatever and then press the latch button. If the latch does not open completely, there's your sign. You can also compare it to the passenger side for reference.

Another method to determine is does it ALSO happen when you press the inside button? Part numbers I could find on a quick search are 15946780, 10352332, 88956721 (RH side). Good luck! This recently happened to me at a 1/2 mile event and I had to use the inside and hatch manual release latches all day.

thanks i will try this now.
also i forgot that also the inside buttons do the same as the outside.
also the door open a little bit sometimes but it's stuck

what do you mean by latch button. is it located on the door latch or the door ?

The button on the door or the button inside the car, either of these operate the latch (that is in the door jam, aka the hook)

this is the test i did just now. hope you watch it its 44sec

but if it's the latch.. i have a hard time believing that both latches are bad ?
