Default C6 Angel eyes install help ?

What am I doing wrong here ? The angel eyes look perfect when viewed behind the car at 90 degrees but they look to be off when viewed from an angle.

Its a little embarrassing as people keep telling me that my lights are dead...

Any advices on how I fix this or whats causing this issues ? I bought these lights off ebay and I think that might be the issue...

Stock C6 lights have left sides and right sides. They are contoured to countermatch the curve of the rear panel. They can be mixed up and put on the wrong sides. If that is the case then your lights will not be directed properly.

Don't know about the aftermarket lights, but they should be the same. Check for markings that indicate lefts/rights. The stocks are marked directly on the red lenses and on the stickers if they're still in place.

You need to make sure you have the lefts in the left side and the rights in the right. Could be 1's and 2's depending on the manufacturer.

Yep. I have 1's and 2's. Both 1's on one side and both 2's on the other.

Thanks guys,

I opened up the lights and they were 2,2 on left and 1,1 on right. I'll swap them around to 1,1 on left and 2,2 on right and see if that solved the issue.

thats normal with LEDs most leds have a very narrow viewing angle. very common with any non SMD led. the traditional 5mm LEDs used in tail lights, have a max viewing angle of 60 degrees, thats only 30 degrees each direction off center, which is why LEDs are so bright, very powerfull in a straight line pencil beam.

you can see the beam pattern here for a visual
