Default No Lift Shift

Does it work on a Base or just the ZR?
Does it use any torque or rev limit parameters in HPT? (don't want to disable it there)

Thanks

Pretty sure I can out shift it anyway and wouldn't trust it on the 1-2 shift, just wondering if it was available.

Super nice Camaro BTW.

Thank you!

I don't use the NLS in my ZR1 or CTS-V. The few times I tried it, I think I lifted out of habit anyways .

You can hack it into your tune since you have hpt.

Set your rev limiter to spark instead of fuel or throttle, then set your neutral rev limiter to something lower than your normal rev limiter that you are comfortable with.

I had it setup like this for a while but was happier with lift-shifting anyway. Your clutch won't be very happy with it either.

I won't be trying that for sure and agree completely. Think it will put way too much shock on the entire drive train and makes it easier to break traction especially on 1-2.

jft69z:
My brain is also too conditioned to lifting. Long ago I had a muncie M22 (straight gear) crash box on a 427 installed in a similar car to yours. Powershifted into 2nd at 6500 and missed the gear...blew the motor to pieces. So no powershifting for me, and no sidestepping the clutch out of the hole either

Just make sure your clutch pedal is coming up all the way if you do it..

I tried it once, and then forgot about it.. all of a sudden I'm doing a WOT run and hit 5K RPM's and it felt like I had hit a tree when it hit the rev limiter because the clutch pedal wasn't quite all the way up

Screw that man...I'll do it the old fashioned way. Playing with way too much boost to risk bouncing off the rev limiter for all but critical shutdown. My awareness of what's going on is really high at WOT and the last thing is to get complacence and depend on software to keep things together. It's a last resort IMO
