Quick Question - Automatic Trans Fluid

I did a search and nothing came up. Can I use Valvoline Max Life ATF in my base 2006 Corvette?

Just need to top it off after radiator swap.

DEXRON VI fluid is what i used on mine been good after 30k miles so far

It says it's good for Dexron VI ... however when I looked at the website thee was a bunch of disclaimers etc.

If you're really concerned, just buy a quart of AC Delco Dexron VI. That's what was in your car from the factory and it's guaranteed to be 100% compatible. Why would you even consider using something else when it only costs $6?

It may be ok, but any more, I'm not in favor of mixing fluids. Too many bad things can happen.

So funny story ... after I read about how to check and top off the transmission fluid, I just decided to be lazy and have the dealer service the transmission, filter and fluid.
