Hey guys. New to the vette world and looking at some options on exhaust. I have a 2009 1lt and was wondering if a 2008 Z06 exhaust fit on '09. It will be headers, h-pipe and muffler, cats and npp mufflers. I think I read somewhere that there might be some fitment issues with the right rear axle??? My 09 is an M6. Also, what would you pay for this used kit with about 30K miles on it? Thanks for the help!

I'm in Orange County, CA. Smog requirements here limits a lot of stuff I can do to it. The guy I bought the car from did some hack job muffler install to mimic the C7, but the welding is pretty crappy on it. There was a lot of drone, but I insulated the trunk area and reduced it by 50%. Tolerable now, but wouldn't mind going with 3" pipe from front to rear. I did a bunch or research, and there were a few posts stating that the 08 will have a problem with the right rear axle of the 09. Not sure how much truth to it is though. There's a guy selling an 08 from headers to mufflers, but don't really want to drop a few hundred to find out that it doesn't fit.

Mines an auto and either way I was gonna have issues. But I have a good muffle shop. They spread the h pipe a little and re worked the pipes over the axel as to not hit the trans. They worked on the car for hours. Close to 5. At 50 an hour. So it was worth it to have them spadjust it just right. And the did the muffler mod too while it was all apart.
But this is the best muffler shop in the area. All their muffler guys have been there 20+ years and a family bus.

And same for me with smog. But I wanted the little bit extra hp and sound so went with the z06 set up. Might not be the 30-40 hp from headers. But it's a good 20+. And the sound is great.
I do have a lot of drone when flaps open. But once closed. Nothing.
