Jack up the car and lay on your back under the rear. If you look up underneath the rear fascia you'll see the back of the reverse lights and be able to access the bulbs.

If the bulbs don't do it it might be the switch. That is one of the very few things I've had go bad on my 2007 since new. I believe they said a seal on the switch went bad and fluid got inside. I think it was around $100 in including labor at a dealer.
