Default ABS mounted line lock

Like to buy a line lock kit, complete with lines, that bolts to the ABS block. Master cylinder area is pretty crowded but will go with the Cartek setup if needed.

Anyone know of something that bolts to the ABS unit?

RDS makes a good working unit for the C6 that comes with everything required and has been trouble free for years

RSD works well and doesn't take much room.

You can buy a LL solenoid from summit. Then get the lines/fittings fabbed up at a local hydraulic store or line store. Or even get them from summit. Piece it together and save $20. No reason to buy a kit that is proven and works perfectly. You can then fab up a mount to put it on the ABS module.

Thanks.. Heard about the RDS kit from a few and will take another look to see if it fits in there. Probably won't be making a custom since it's one of those necessary evil things and would rather just throw money at it and get it done with.

Took a look at the Cartek site and didn't really see anything specific for the C6, only basic units and some C5 stuff... Website looked pretty antiquated like the Moroso site

Went with the Cartek after talking to Julio H. Mounts just where I have the open space. Couldn't make heads or tales with RDS because they claim it mounts away from the headers yet pics show it close to the headers, the say it uses all stock lines yet they give you new braided lines. Just sounded like more vendor babble.

Cartek is a great choice as I've had one on my car for several years without any issues whatsoever.

Had RSD one for 5+ years. Mounts away from headers, uses stock lines, plug and play, works great.

I see how the RSD kit works now.. Ties into the stock like with braided hoses. Looks like a pretty slick setup. Regardless, I've got some other stuff mounted in that area so it won't fit.

Looking for a nice hidden place to mount the switch without drilling a hole in the console

Thanks

The RSD actually fits nicely with no issues even with the regulator, alky, and everything else in that area.......but that ship has sailed and I'm sure the cartek will work fine.

I put the switch in the ashtray. It's hidden but easy to reach when needed.

That area is pretty tight on my setup so I wasn't sure. Just know I wasn't going to move anything. LOL

The ashtray location is a good idea and made me think about using the actual cigarette lighter as the switch so I'll try that first.

EDIT: Or maybe I'll use the horn to let 'em know to get the hell out of the way

Thanks

I understand your concern but that's a pretty standard setup. Nothing special. If the cartek fits as well you won't see it and it won't interfere with anything.
