PLX Gen 5 / Smartphone app

Does anyone have any experience with this? Thinking of going this route to monitor AFR and boost. I know a lot of you are using dashlogic with success but was looking for something different..

I'd be curious to see the speed of it vs the analog output. Seems pretty neat for people that use a tablet as a dash in other vehicles.

I think I will give this a try. I can always hook up hard wired gauges to the modules if I am not happy.

Can you setup alarms on it or.. something? Seems like that'd be more difficult to see than a gauge or dash logic unless you have your phone/tablet mounted somewhere up on the dash

As far as alarms, not that I am aware of. Planned on using a windshield mount like I have in my Duramax or any other kind of phone mount. Don't see myself having it always mounted, probably only track days and spirited driving days.
