So, I have an 08 LS3 automatic non NPP, and I have purchased a set of NPP exhaust from an 09. I believe that these pipes are different and I knew that going in. My question is two fold.
Is it just the passenger pipe that is different or both?
Second, who has done this before:
1. did you just cut off the stock muffs and weld on or clamp w fitting
2. Just replace the passenger pipe or
3. purchase new pipes and save the stock ones
I am not worried about originality as this year offered NPP, but I do want the tips to line up.
I can't help you with fitment, And I'm no expert on this system but I thought this system was controlled by vacuum chambers, without that how will they open. Just thinking out loud

Was sent earlier X than the 11 X system from KooKs. Pipes would not connect together took it into muffler shop. They cut just a few inches off of pipes X or axel back. Then welded on V band clamps problem solved. SS clamps bit $$ and coast of install brought to more than expected but happy with result.
Thanks for your feedback. That's what I am planning on doing is cutting the stock pipes off at the muffler and leaving a couple of inches. Then connecting the NPP mufflers either weld on or clamps. Need to find a good welder at a muffler shop who does not do a hack job on the welding. Any recommendations in the DFW area?
I put the bi mode from a '09 in my '06 vert automatic.
If you had a manuel transmission there's no issue using the 3 inch pipes that are attatched to your bi mode mufflers. Being an automatic, my case too, the 3 inch pipes rub on the transmission, so you have to use 2.5 inch pipes. I had a muffler shop cut the 2.5 inch pipes off the original mufflers and cut off the 3 inch and welded the 2.5 to the bi modes. No big deal for them, although they charged 300 to do it.

wow. $300. I will not be paying that much. It should be like $100 to just cut off and weld on. Otherwise I'll break out the saber saw and use some band clamps.

hit up 21st century muscle cars in addison, and if they are too pricey for ya go to old town lewisville, there are several muffler shops off of Mill St.
