Default G6X3 cam questions.

I think this is the right section. Alright guys I need some input. I installed the g6x3 cam about a year ago and haven't driven the car to much but valve train noise seems to be alittle louder than I remember. So my question was has anyone running this cam changed to shorter pushrods than 7.400 and will a truion upgraded rockers increase noise? Car sounds great at idle just when I have the radio off and flaps on exhaust closed cruising around 2k it's seems the most noticable. Also with the car on the lift at idle the valve train noise is the loudest at the bottom of the headers is it normal? Just seems like Everytime I pull the valve cover it's another surprise. Sorry for all the questions. Thanks in advance.

Without cam specs of cam I would not trust the noise pull heads immediately and check for guide wear....

LG will not release the specs. It does have a very high lift and aggressive lobes. I ended having a lifter fail around 35,000 miles. I won't blame the cam for it. We did find the cam bearings were down to the brass during the rebuild. You do need to change your valve springs between 15,000 and 20,000 miles.

Thanks for the info yeah I'm about 5000 into my cam swap. Did you use factory pushrod length?

I believe the pushrods were changed. I did have the heads milled.
