Default Help with brake upgrade

So I have an 06 base and I want to upgrade the front and rear brakes. I have read a number of threads and I am still not clear on what I can do. some questions, and I dont what to change wheel size.
Can I use a larger rotor with the stock calipers, if so what size and what else will I need?
I really like the looks of the 2 pc rotor, Southern has a 4 pc set for around $1000, are there any other vendors that have comparable prices?and I would like to customize the hub color to red or silver.
SS brake lines of course.
Would like to do a powder coat exchange with my calipers.
Any better ideas?
Thanks

You can get the 2 piece Baer rotors and Z51 from caliper brackets and then powder coat the calipers with SS lines. Good combo, did it 10 years ago.

Kind of lost of upgrading the brakes.

The base brakes will still out break the base tires(get the tires to stop spinning and kick in the ABS system), and just upgrading the brake system without improving the tire grip as well, just means that you will just need less break pressure to get into the ABS system when the tires lock up instead.

So before you do anything, get the brake fluid power flushed, to replace the old moisture saturated fluid with new clean fluid to begin with.

Hence the brake fluid on the vet, should be replaced around every 3 year, or if you are using the car for autocross or road coarse event where you are getting the brake fluid close to, or over it boiling point during such, the change the fluid out afterwards.

If such is just for show, then bling away instead.

I suggest giving KNS Brakes a call. They are a supporting vendor. I was very happy with there service.
