I've got the common to C6 leaking high psi P/S hose. All I have been able to find is house brands, sangsun ( china) or Edelmann from napa, autozone and the rest, I did find a Gates unit, so I'm leaning towards the Gates at this point. Is there a preferred hose part number or brand I'm missing? Thanks
Well maybe not very common, but in my research it seemed like this was a known problem with even some very low mile C6's having faulty P/S high psi hoses. My car just turned 63k and is a 07.

I've got 81k miles on mine and have not experienced this. Can you elaborate on this 'common' leak?
It's probably more accurate to say that C6s with power steering fluid leaks are usually leaking from the pressure hose (as opposed to the return, or the rack, or the pump).

They changed the line in 2008, I think, and made it about 3 times as long. Not sure what the problem was, but they did leak and GM was fixing them for free.
and I can't find the "all ears" I love to hear about these "common problems" I've never had, 06 mn6 LS2 400rwhp 82.000 miles
what can I say, just got the car a month ago, first vette. Knew it had a leak when I checked it out, thought it was P/S fluid but wasn't sure. Checked this forum and others and most of what I was seeing pointed to P/S high psi hose on C6's, I think the hose was a problem area that's why the replacement differs from the original.
