P/S reservoir, has screen??
Anyone know if it has a screen down deep in there? Going to replace a hose and flush so if it has one I'd like to remove it and swish around some cleaner. My old explorer had a screen and I'm glad I cleaned it before flushing the system.

The Service Manual has a P/S flush procedure which I have used. IIRC, you disconnect a hose down low and have someone pour in fluid as you slowly turn the steering wheel lock to lock a few times with the engine off. I'd be reluctant to pour any kind of cleaning fluid into the reservoir unless I knew it wouldn't attack or contaminate anything.
