Strange C6 noise

I was hoping some one can give me some clues. I recently purchased a 2007 C6, with only 38K miles. On hard acceleration from a standing start (ONLY) I have strange noise like a muffled rattle coming from the front passengers foot well. The car has been looked at by GM mechanics and rep, and they assure me the car is mechanically sound. I personally have gone over the car and tightened everything in that area.
Need HELP.

Thanks, I will check back with the mechanic. I told me he had it on the lift and could not locate the source, then again it only happens under load (and from 0-20 mph).

jach=k t up and knock it with a mallet. Jeeez some of yo guys need to take a chance a pinck up a wrench.

Might also be the gumbo? IDont know what gm people call it.
