I ordered tires for my Z06, Goodyear F1 G2s one of the tires that came in was manufactured in 2012. How old is to old of a tire to put on your car??

That sucks, I like to change my tires at 5 years from manufactured date, but those are ones that have been driven for nearly all of that.
My tires rarely last that long.

no, the new tire that was delivered to the tire shop is that old

the new tire that just came from the warehouse is that old. should i tell them no thanks and get me another?

Had the same thing happen on new tires ordered for a 04Z06. Tires were 4 years old based on mfg. date.

Got in a big argument with the "tire dealer" who blamed it on the distributor warehouse. Told him it was not my problem .

For the poor people who don't know about this problem, I feel for them and their safety.
