I'm looking to upgrade my fuel system for dual purpose E85 and 93 octane. My tuner priced out a system and it wasn't cheap so I'm looking for alternatives. The flex sensor he included in the build was $400 and that seemed pretty high. What is everyone using and how much do they sell for?
There are many threads on DIY flex fuel systems for the C6. I provided a link below on what people are running and within this thread there is a list of parts.
If you have an 05 you'll have a harder time tracking down the right pin to tap. Dave Steck figured it out, so you can be sure to get good instructions from him if you buy his kit.

Thanks. Looks like my shop was just choosing the DSX flex fuel kit which really is $400 for my car, so unless I piece together my own kit, I'm not likely to save any cash here.

Doubt he'll give out the pin location without you buying the kit from him.. he spent a good bit of time figuring that one out. I know which pin it was and even knowing it I couldn't find it posted anywhere online (though it's been a while since I looked so who knows)
