2nd key fob not working
I had the 2nd key fob in the house for some years and recently tried to use it but didn't work. Got a brand new Energizer CR2032 in, cleaned all contacts front and back with QD Electronic contacts cleaner and tried again, no go. Tried the learning steps from the manual and it asked to program fob #3, which to me, it means that it still has the programming for #2 in memory. Any idea what else I can try before reprogramming it?

Take the battery out, put the fob in the glove box slot and try to start the car. If it starts you do not need to do any programming. Are you sure the battery isn't upside down?
