Can someone explain to me the point/use for a crossram intake for the ls motors

The Kinsler setup is designed for use in LS powered Street Rods and Muscle Cars. They perform well and display a "cool factor" under the hood. They were not designed as the ultimate performance piece.

I hate the term "ram" on that product, TBH. Those are individual throttle bodies and have no "ram" effect.

It is a good explanation; however, you can obtain greater than atmospheric air pressure. He briefly touched upon the tuning of the velocity stacks to optimize the system. By choosing the proper length it is possible to use harmonic waves to induce greater than atmospheric pressure into the cylinders.
