P0101 and P0102 code on C6 Z06
My '07 Z06 started bucking on acceleration and seemed to get worse over time. It also threw a code P0101 which came up as MAF. So of course I replaced the MAF...same problem. Then it also threw the P0102 code which said low voltage on MAF. I got a million different ideas from different people until one mechanic buddy told me to check the MAF wires. I peeled back about 12 inches...no burnt wires. Finally I checked the wire just where it went into the plug. The plastic part of the wire was fine but the actual wire itself was broken inside the plastic. The plug wire rubs just a little against the power steering pump with a K&N filter kit and eventually broke. The replacement "pigtail" was $20 at Chevrolet and I noticed the wires were much thicker.
Just like the old joke, 20 hours of time diagnosing and a $20 part to fix.
I hope I save somebody 20 hours of their life by posting this.
