A6 trans fluid change ?
Fix . They drop the trans to fix / replace bad parts . ( so I read)
My 2008 has 25,000 miles and I was think 9 years old I should have the
Trans fluid changed .
So how ? Pump / suck
Or drop pan . They are removing trans so could I have them drop pan
Change filter . And dump fluid out of torque converter ?
I did a lot of searching and getting different opinions .

Seriously, just slap a good quality 2600-2800 stall in there and see how that wakes your car up.

But if you don't want to do that, and still want to change the trans fluid, then you could pull the converter and drain it and then refill it with fresh oil, but that's not really necessary, IMV. It doesn't matter whether the trans is in or out to change the oil in the pan and the filter.
Whatever you do, don't let them flush the trans. There's plently of horror stories out there about transmissions failing after having the dealer flush them. At 25,000 miles, you don't need to worry about the relatively small amount of oil that remains in the valve body, clutch packs, etc. Just make sure that they refill it with a good quality Dexron VI fluid.
Having said all that, I wouldn't have a dealer do any work on my car, unless it was a recall or covered by warranty, but that's just me.
Whant to keep it safe .
2400 /2600
I can't seem to find much .
For N-A car the Yank pas 3,400 will drive tight on the street just like the factory it even pull at the traffic light you notice no slippage but when you jam the right pedal you'll be glad I took the time.
