Suggestion's.. 2009 Z06 86k mile, heads done 1500 miles ago. No noise at that time
Ran with belts off still have same noise. Goes away if I rev the rpms over 2k. Nothing at a cold start but shortly after it starts and continues
Was going to have the Harmonic balancer changed out but just saw a video of someone who did just that but it didn't fix the problem. Oil pressure is good and I don't feel any missing or power loss.
If you have a GM balancer then you will probably want to change it anyway. But the chirp from the wobbly balancer are the belts, if your belts are off it shouldn't be causing the chirp.
Have any video of the issue?
Did you change the lifters when you replaced the heads? What cam do you have? Most likely, you have a lifter wheel that is pitted or has been skidding on the cam lobe.
