Ground hooked to 12volt help !
Hi guys I was dropping in a new motor in my c6 , and somewhere along the way we hooked ground wire 106 to the big post on the starter side . The car went to get fired fuel pump primed and battery was dead . So then new battery out in . Hit the start button fuel pump primed starter did not start because when power went through the starter solonid it back fed that ground . The ground was put pack onto the block . No fuses or relays were blown . When I tried to start it hooked up the correct way the dash goes black when the start button is relaed the dash lights come back on . Hooked up the scanner and it says uo100 lost communication with pcm/ecm a ? Just wondering what my next step is or it anyone has done the same ,? Thanks

check to make sure both (+) are hooked up to starter, one from alternator and one from battery. And make sure the purple wire is hooked up to starter too
