C6 steering rack replacement
So the dealer just finished replacing the steering rack on my 08 with 70,000 miles. Discovered a binding problem and a fluid leak while it was in for state inspection. Just under $3000, but covered by my extended warranty.
Anyway, the steering now had zero play, but also feels like there is almost no power assist. Is this normal or did they screw something up? Steering is much heavier than it was before the repair.

Check out the tsb on the pressure line.
I'm not sure if 08 or 09 is when they changed the new line.
Not sure if this would cause binding but they did add a flow restrictor in the line.
