Try replacing the battery in the fob first but if no luck. What year is your car? There is a key slot above the licence plate at the rear. Use it to open the hatch and then there are pull cables on the drivers side to open the door and gas door. If you have fob with a separate key use that key. If your fob (2007 or I think maybe 2008 and up) the key is hidden in the fob. When you get in the car it might be a good time to get up and close to the owners manual. There was a news story not long ago about an elderly man and his dog trapped in his C6 because of a dead battery and they couldn't get out. They were found dead in it. Read the manual. It might save you one day.
Jim pretty much gave you everything you need to know. However, I recall the outcome of that news story was that the driver may have had a heart attack in the car and passed away. The battery could have drained posthumously.

Quite possible. The heart attack could have been brought on by heat and stress but we'll never know but the point I was trying to get across was to read the manual. I can tell you as a 30 year veteran firefighter I have had two incidents where people have been unable to get out of their C6's caused by dead batteries. After telling them how to get out there was some very embarrassed people. I'm sure this happens more than we hear about.
Anyway it would be nice to hear from the OP to see if he resolved his issue?
