Fuel gauge backwards

Default Fuel gauge backwards
After I installed my fore tripple system now my fuel gauge reads backwards. I though maybe I put the sender in upside down but now I dont think that is possible. Do I just need to switch the fuel level sender wires? I though since it was just resistance it would not matter.

Any ideas?

General Motors reversed the sender resistance range in 2007. Earlier cars read from ~40Ω empty to ~250Ω full. Later cars read from ~250Ω empty to ~40Ω full.

The purpose of the change was so that a dirty sender or poor connection would cause the gauge to err on the side of empty rather than full.

You can either go in there and replace the sender with the right one or reverse the range with tuning software.

Yes it is possible to put them in upside down.

The sender came out of a different car so I am guessing thats exactly what happened. Where is that table in HP tuners?
