Has anyone swapped out a ss converter to go with a pro thruster, If you have can you let me know if you picked up any 60ft or mile per hour...... Im thinking of changing my ss4000 to a pro thruster, the ss 4000 60 ft is killer, 1.3s but my mph is off 130 on average , 131 and change sometimes..... Im an n.a. base c6 with an jacked up ls7 in it. Makes 550 rwhp... and 525 tourque.......10.25 ets......... My ss4000 was built for my ls2, but we kept it with the ls7 swap.......We used to have trouble with the converter acting crazy on the dyno, but with the bigger motor is listens to the computer commands.......But any rpm pass 2300 and all the motor does is scream ,,,,, not moving any faster. I checked with yank and he says we not making enough to blow through converter..... lol I know what im hearing and feeling...Every thing is new and billet in tranny and rear end.... So now im thinking of that change.........SO guys if you have done this swap . Let me know what it picked up if any... One guy I know made the swap and picked up 7mph and 5 tenths.. but his was a turbo charged grand sport..... 2005 c6 with a4 tranny........
