I just purchased a 2013 Corvette with 13k miles on it and the passenger window switch does not work. Are these switches known to fail? The car is only 4 years old with low mileage, so it has me questioning the quality of the switch a bit.
I would pull the switch from the door and make sure that it is plugged in.
You can get a replacement pretty cheap. If it got water into the switch it could have corroded the internals.
Also inspect the wiring where it passes trough the door. There have been cases of damaged wiring there but with so few miles I would find that one hard to believe.
It's an electrical component. They can last for 30 years or 30 minutes. I agree with Omega, pull the switch and check the connections. With the power on, check for current at the connector then you know if it is the switch or a deeper problem.
