Running E-85 plus Meth

Yes, I am doing/tuning in Meth right now. I see E85 available here in Scottsdale, but understand that is not true E85. The meth step should make my car better for the 100*+ days.....we'll soon see.

I run e85 and meth
With meth IAT's are somewhere around 30*F under ambient once it's spraying
Octane wise it just depends on ratio of methanol to E54 or whatever. It will help but doubtful it will be more than 10-15% of the overall fuel used IMO
It's still not 100% the same as cold air but it's about the best that can be done

Yes, on a boosted setup it is great. On a NA setup, it may not be worth it. Would have to see the timing and if you are being octane limited now. The e54 works amazing out here, and you should not be timing limited on e54.
The other issue will have it running little enough meth on a 450-500rwhp setup. On a NA lower power setup, you would either be adding so much meth it is going to be part of your fueling, and now you are meth dependent, so if you run out or have a pump failure you will hurt the motor, or the meth will make the car so much richer, that it will negate any power gains, or actually lose power. I've seen that happen multiple times in this case. Basically using meth to bring IATs down but AFRs go from 12.5 to 11.0 so car is now pig rich, and use lost ~15rwhp. Lean it out to 12.5 again, and now power is back to normal, but when meth stops, it is at 14.0.
E54 will support 1000+rwhp, so you are probably no where near its kr limits.

Who is out racing in 115+ weather? While my car runs fine in the heat, I don't get the need to have max power in that weather. The other cars you are racing are taking the same hit.
For a mild setup like yours, I wouldn't touch meth. E54 will not have any issues with that temp.

I guess I just don't notice. When you get into the 1100+rwhp range, it just spins tires in 120 heat or 60 outside.

Which is what I was getting at. No reason car should be losing a ton of power on ethanol. Tuner should have set the IAT tables properly for ethanol to not gimp out when hot out, since it will support all the timing you could want, even in this crap weather.
