2012 cats
I know the x pipe on a 2012 is different from earlier years due to the addition of the small cats. Is the main cat on a 2012 different from earlier years also? Thanks in advance for any info.

Not sure but i recall that the main cats on the 2008 and 2009 LS3's where breaking down early. Hence the recall, if you call it that in that it was not mandatory.
Or maybe they just weren't doing the job and the two mid pipe cats had to be added. I think it was a combo of both.
But I am not sure if they changed the construction of the main cats when doing the recall.
The down pipe should fit regardless of any cat re design.
