Default Need quick answer Magnetic Ride

Need to know if a set of Magnetic Ride shocks off a 2011 ZR1 will interchange with the Magnetic Ride shocks on my 2005. Both have the Magnetic Select Ride options. Thanks!

Anyone? I know they'll mount up, but will they interact with the control module the same?

They will bolt up fine but the connectors are different. I bought a set from someone on the forum thinking they would work with my '05 but found out from my local Chevy dealer that they were not compatible. I ended up not needing them and sold them to someone on the forum for $750.

FWIW, I traded my '05 at 149K miles with the original F55 shocks and brake rotors; I changed over to ceramic pads at about 7K miles and they were also still on the car.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I'm finding out. It's a "no go" on the 08-13 shocks for my car.

Unless the zr1 has some strange connector that I’ve never heard of, I have 2011 f55 shocks on my 2005.

do you know if yours are actually working properly?in compatibility listings on GM sites it states they wont work properly.when AcDelco had their Shocktember sale in September I purchased 4 new ones.very pricey and cost me $2,000.Could have bought 7 new sets of 4 GM Z06 shocks for that price

Mine are 2011 shocks and they work great. The only difference is the newer shocks (since '08 as I recall) are dual electronic coil. I have a Tech II which is needed to enable the system and you can watch the shock data when the car is being driven. I got my set of 4 shocks for $400 as they were take-offs from a race car conversion. I did my entire retrofit for under $1000.
