Hello everyone, I'm looking for some help please.
My 2006 C6 Convertible is having some electrical issues.
Last Friday I pulled into a gas station and could not open my doors, trunk, gas door, power windows don't work, & the convertible top won't go up & down.
I put a new AC Delco battery in it today hoping to solve some issues but still the same.
The car starts fine and it hav 14.1 volts.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions & help.
Mark
That seems very odd that just changing a battery would cause sytems to not work. I would first try to disconnect the battery again, then re-index the windows (with the doors closed) and see if that resets the conditions that you are experiencing. Try a new FOB battery at the same time. Without a FOB, the doors cannot operate, so maybe the battery is getting weak in the FOB.
If that dioesn't work, then it may be a connector at the BCM under the passenger floor board. Disconnect the blue connectors, spray some contact cleaner on the pins, and plug them back in.
I have the full set of wiring diagrams that i'll send you if you PM me your e-mail address. These are for a 2006-2007 and they are in color.
