I recently stated getting a strange skipping feeling from the car at low rpm. Almost like a jutter. It only happens from about 1,500 to 2,000 rpm in first and second gear. Can anyone tell me what might be causing this?
The car performs perfect in any other situation. driving hard, gentle, or anything in between. I cant just keep it in the high rpms all the since its my daily driver. lol. Any advise would really help.
It could be the intake. Some have caused air turbulence and sometimes throws a code. Have you seen any codes? You might ask "JoesC5"; I doubt it's indicative of the valvetrain issue, but he'd know. I presume you've also made certain that all spark plug wires are firmly on the plugs.
I figured out this problem on my 09....the TB clamps weren't tightened down enough...allowing for air leaks.... cranked them down and all my surging problems or skips went away.... You have a CAI I take it?

TB Clamps? Are those clamps holding the intake components together?
